Poly-L-lactic acid fillers, more commonly known as PLLA filler, are synthetic and bio-stimulatory dermal fillers intended for the restoration of facial and body volume loss. Intended as a stimulator, PLLA filler differ from traditional dermal fillers as they don’t produce results instantly. Instead, PLLA filler directly act on the dermal fibroblast, contributing to the production of new collagen in the skin.
5 Minutes Collagen Booster
Devolux™ Poly-L-Lactic Acid Plla filler Injection is poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) filler designed with GranCross Technology™ for collagen production. Devolux™ can naturally, gradually, effectively rejuvenate the skin with long lasting results
PLLA is a biocompatible, biodegradable synthetic polymer that is safely degraded along the same metabolic pathway as lactic acid. PLLA microparticles are able to stimulate subclinical inflammation in the host, which in turn promotes collagen synthesis. Over the course of treatment, which may include several sessions, the controlled and gradual deposition of collagen provides a natural-looking outcome desired by patients.
When used as an injectable implant for soft-tissue volumization, PLLA is supplied as a lyophilized powder, which includes PLLA microparticles, carboxymethylcellulose, and nonpyrogenic mannitol. Following reconstitution with sterile water and appropriate hydration time, the hydrocolloid suspension can be easily injected into the appropriate area.
Collagen is a fibrous protein located in the deep dermis of the skin that gives it structure. Elastin is a protein that helps the skin maintain it’s shape, while HA nourishes the skin and keep it hydrated.
Injectable implants made of PLLA are famed for their outstanding durable performance. Since PLLA particles provide deep-tissue regeneration by encouraging collagen synthesis, the natural-looking aesthetic improvements become apparent over a gradual period but are sustained for a long time. Besides that, the risk of immunogenic or rejection reactions are quite paltry as the material is synthetic.
